Credible Leadership

Overview
Designed for up to 20 participants, the Credible Leadership seminar is for managers who want to improve their leadership skills. However, non-managers who have the potential to be future leaders are also welcome – as the program is designed to help anyone become a better leader, whatever their position in the organization.

Indeed, it doesn’t matter whether you are the “big boss” of a department or organization, or a team leader on a small project. All of us, at every level in an organization, need to know how to become a more effective leader – a leader of ourselves and the people around us.

Objectives
The objectives of the Credible Leadership seminar are for participants to:
• Learn the 5 Key “Daily Actions” of Effective Leaders
• Identify their leadership strengths/weaknesses
• Clarify and communicate their fundamental values and beliefs
• Learn how to align their actions and shared values
• Inspire others to share a common vision
• Build collaboration, team-work and trust
• Recognize the accomplishments of others
• Learn fundamental coaching skills
• Translate vision/strategy into action

The key message from the seminar is that leadership is not about position, power, job title… or being a “hero.” It’s about credibility, relationships and what you do. Leadership can be learned. It’s an observable pattern of practices and behaviours. And it takes practice.
